Job Summary

We are seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time, term-time only role that will commence in September and run until the end of the academic year.

Job Role

The successful candidate will work alongside qualified SEMH professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to support small groups of students and individuals in the classroom or in intervention sessions. This is a highly rewarding role that will make a meaningful impact on children with Special Educational Needs (such as ASD, SEMH, ADHD, SLCN).

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2:1 Psychology degree from a top 10 UK University and be able to tailor their work to meet the individual needs and requirements of each child. They will also be able to use a composed approach to de-escalate situations and ensure a safe environment for students.

The school is a leading institution located in Central East London, with quick and easy access to public transport. We are looking for a Psychology Graduate who is looking to add experience to their portfolio before making future steps to become a psychologist.
