Mint Selection is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Renewable Energy Investment Platform. As the Head of Renewable Energy Investments, you will be responsible for driving key commercial aspects to deliver a portfolio of assets through all stages of development to financial close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of experts to deliver a portfolio of renewable energy assets through all stages of development, from initial sourcing to financial close.
- Sourcing new acquisition opportunities in the renewable energy sector in Europe, leveraging your network and industry expertise.
- Oversee the financial modelling process, providing guidance to junior team members and ensuring accurate financial projections.
- Support the team in negotiating deal terms, preparing transaction documents, and managing the overall deal execution process.
- Proactively analyze the financial impact of individual project risk, regulatory changes, and the economic environment on our portfolio.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in leading transactions and sourcing new opportunities in the renewable energy sector in Europe.
- Proven commercial exposure to the renewable infrastructure sector, with experience in industry due diligence and strong financial modelling skills.
- Experience leading a team and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience negotiating and finalising key agreements from conception to close.
- Ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic record with a degree in a relevant discipline.
