Senior MEP Project Leader

Permanent Position

Role Summary: We are looking for a Senior MEP Project Leader to join our esteemed organization. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Regional Director and play a crucial part in ensuring that MEP systems are executed efficiently, adhering to both timelines and budget constraints. Your leadership will be essential in guiding teams to achieve seamless project transitions and ensuring client satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:

  • System Implementation: Advocate for and uphold the management systems within the Building Services Department.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure alignment with the overarching strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Project Bid Management: Supervise both the technical and commercial dimensions of project bids.
  • Tender Management: Oversee the tendering process and the awarding of MEP contracts.
  • Electrical Compliance: Guarantee that all projects fulfill temporary electrical requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Provide robust leadership and inspiration to MEP project teams.
  • Resource Coordination: Strategically plan and manage resources to facilitate project execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in managing extensive MEP projects.
  • Educational Background: Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Professional Affiliations: Membership in professional bodies such as CIBSE, CIOB, IEI, or similar.
  • Health and Safety Training: IOSH or equivalent health and safety management training.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Planning, Project Management, and Live Energies/Arc Flash.
  • Market Insight: Comprehensive understanding of the MEP supply chain landscape.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent technical, interpersonal, and commercial abilities.
