About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Kier Professional Services. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting project teams with the delivery of civil and structural related services, including Temporary and Permanent Works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and check Temporary Works above and below ground in various materials, integrating with Permanent Works design as needed.
  • Develop alternative solutions and value engineering to enhance Kier's reputation and competitiveness.
  • Provide technical assessment and review of 3rd party designs to ensure compliance with client and Kier requirements.
  • Support tender stage and bid-winning activities, focusing on buildability, efficiency, and innovation.
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer status or willingness to pursue chartered status.
  • Interest in Temporary Works Design or relevant experience.
  • Full UK driving license.
