ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Mental Health Occupational Therapist at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and enhancing our therapeutic services, ensuring that our patients receive the comprehensive care and support they deserve.
Your primary focus will be on elevating our patients' quality of life through tailored occupational therapy interventions that align with their unique needs and aspirations.
We expect you to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to design and execute treatment plans, while consistently monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of the OT services provided.
Leading by example, you will inspire and guide the Occupational Therapy Assistants in your team, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, particularly those outlined in the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
As an Occupational Therapist at Barchester, you will have the opportunity to
foster a secure and nurturing environment that enables our patients to achieve optimal outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you should be a driven Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy and preferably, experience in a mental health setting.
We seek individuals with exceptional communication abilities and a proven track record in managing budgets, optimizing resources, and providing necessary statistical reports on service performance.
