Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team as an Onsite Engineer in Dorset. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing face-to-face desktop support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients on-site in Dorset, including desktop support, hardware installations, and server maintenance.
  • Conduct office moves, new hardware installations, and server maintenance.
  • Manage data management activities, including tape media archiving, data ingestion, and integrity checks.
  • Perform domain health checks, use of active directory, group policies, and deskside network patching.
  • Update antivirus software and reimaging, hardware fixes, and general engineering work on site.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients in a client-facing role.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel to other local sites as required.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance due to the nature of the work and business.
