Job Title: Onsite IT Engineer

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + £4,800 car allowance

Type Of Employment: 12 month FTC (likely for continual extension 12 months at a time)

Location: Dorset

Working hours: Monday - Friday between shifts between 09:00 - 17:00

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as an Onsite IT Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients in Dorset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide face-to-face desktop support to clients
  • Conduct office moves, new hardware installations, and server maintenance
  • Assist with triage support tickets and updating users
  • Perform data management activities, tape media archiving, data ingestion, and integrity checks
  • Conduct domain health checks, use active directory, group policies, and deskside network patching
  • Update antivirus software
  • Reimage, hardware fixes, and general engineering work on site

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Security clearance
  • Excellent communication skills
