About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Broker to join our Casualty team at Salus Insurance Services Inc. As a Senior Broker, you will play a crucial role in managing clients' Casualty insurance needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client's Casualty insurance needs and provide appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, proactively addressing their insurance needs and ensuring total client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Negotiate and place insurance coverage with a focus on achieving the best terms and conditions for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in the Casualty insurance industry.
  • Analyse risk exposures and develop effective risk management strategies for clients.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements
  • Experience in the Casualty insurance industry, with a proven track record of success working within the Lloyd's insurance market and preferably Canadian risks.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Casualty insurance products and services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Proficient in using insurance management systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Professional certifications such as CII are preferred, but not required.
