Executive Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Pale Hall, a Michelin Green Star restaurant in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
With a minimum of four years' experience in a quality kitchen, you will have a proven track record of leading a team, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of health and safety. You will be a creative and inspirational leader, able to motivate and guide your team to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and other senior team members to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts
- Recruit, train, and develop junior team members to ensure a high level of culinary expertise
