Logistics Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Director to lead our team at Peak Scientific Instruments Ltd. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, this role will play a key part in driving our continued growth as a leading innovator in the design, manufacture, and support of high-performance gas generators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistical operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead the global strategy for cost-effective logistics, optimized transport routes, and storage levels.
  • Oversee end-to-end reporting of logistics costs and logistical KPIs, with a focus on year-over-year improvements.
  • Manage global supply chain data compliance and logistical regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain global business process flows and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Manage consigned materials for OEM customers globally.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Qualifications and experience in CILT, BIFA, CIPS, Inward Processing, Auditing, and SAP proficiency are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience in logistical change management and team leadership.
  • Experience of global import/export, HMRC, and global customs regulations.
  • High system literacy and effective reporting skills (SAP, Excel, etc.).
  • Effective time management, organizational, and team building skills.
