About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Instructor to join our Community Services team in Hertfordshire. As a Technical Instructor, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients in their own homes, providing equipment and interventions to support their rehabilitation and independence.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients in their own homes, using your expertise in occupational therapy to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
- Provide equipment and interventions to support patients' rehabilitation and independence, working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Travel to patients' homes across the locality, using your own vehicle (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
- Manage your own caseload and documentation, using electronic records to track patient progress and outcomes.
- Work autonomously, making decisions about patient care and treatment in consultation with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements
- Good general education and NVQ Level III or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Previous experience of therapy rehabilitation in a hospital, rehab unit, or community setting.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to meet the required IT skills for the post.
