This is a full-time fixed-term contract until March, working hours per week.

The Work and Health Programme is a comprehensive, collaborative initiative funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and managed by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. It provides targeted pre-employment interventions to support workless households and individuals facing various barriers to progression.

The role of Project Support Officer is to provide an effective support function to the Contract Manager, coordinating and supporting the activities of the Work and Health programme to meet contract objectives. This will involve liaison with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Contract Manager
  • Coordinate programme activities and events
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including programme participants and partner organisations
  • Support the development and implementation of programme strategies

Person Specification:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Level 3 relevant qualification
  • Desirable: project management experience and understanding of UKSPF
