Exciting Opportunity in Automotive Compliance

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Privacy Specialist to join our team at TLP Consultancy Ltd, a global automotive brand voted one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to work for in the UK.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide daily support to the Data Privacy Team mailbox, assisting customers with DP enquiries and supporting internal business teams with DP requests. They will also assist the DP team with business projects, support the automation of DP processes on the client's platform, and be the first point of contact for Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) & Record of Processing Activities (RoPAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Data Privacy Team mailbox with daily queries
  • Assist customers with DP enquiries and internal business teams with DP requests
  • Support the DP team with business projects and automation of DP processes
  • Be the first point of contact for DPIAs & RoPAs
  • Attend and lead monthly business partner meetings and Data Governance Committee meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • 6 – 12 Months Data Privacy Experience
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience on OneTrust modules
  • Excellent attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Relevant DP qualifications
  • Experience providing data privacy training and awareness
  • Ability to build on and improve existing DP processes
