Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Officer to join our team at Jobwise Ltd. As a Quality Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Quality Inspections: Conduct routine quality inspections on incoming materials, work in progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with Production Teams: Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues, providing timely feedback and implementing corrective actions.
  • Quality Documentation: Complete and maintain quality documentation and records, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and quality control procedures.
  • SNCR's and Supplier Performance: Support the timely issuance and review of SNCR's to maintain product quality standards and supplier performance expectations.
  • Customer Complaints: Oversee customer complaints, ensuring prompt resolution, root cause analysis, and implementation of actions to enhance customer satisfaction and product quality.
  • Internal Errors: Raise internal errors and assist in their resolution.
  • Quality Assurance Processes: Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize defects.
  • Internal Audits and Inspections: Participate in internal audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives in line with ISO 9001:2015 by analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing towards quality targets and objectives.
  • Testing Equipment: Monitor and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
  • Health and Safety: Participate in the H&S committee, assisting with monitoring and assessing workplace health and safety practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal risk assessments, while collaborating with stakeholders and implementing necessary improvements and mitigating risks.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in quality control or assurance, is advantageous.
  • Quality Management Systems: Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 standards) is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality-related issues.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Additional Certifications: Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 would be advantageous but not essential, and possessing IOSH certification is advantageous but not essential.
