A leading high street financial institution is seeking a skilled Team Supervisor to oversee their Finance and Processing division within a dynamic regulated contact centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of a dedicated team of Finance and Processing representatives.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure efficient workload management and adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with client FCA regulations and internal policies.
- Act as a deputy for the Operations Manager when necessary, both internally and with clients.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members to help them reach their objectives.
- Set clear performance targets and foster the development of exceptional customer service skills within the team.
- Address a variety of performance management challenges and personnel issues effectively.
- Support the Contact Centre Operations Management team in the smooth functioning of the centre, driving team performance to meet all service level agreements.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience in a contact centre setting.
- Familiarity with financial client guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, particularly in performance management.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Proven success in team development and management.
- Strong coaching and mentoring experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy levels, complemented by solid administrative experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications like Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Financial Services or a similar regulatory environment is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of FCA standards.
- Understanding of operations management principles.
