Our client is a distinguished provider of clinical and laboratory services, focusing on various therapeutic domains while prioritizing patient-centric research. Consequently, they are seeking to enhance their clinical trials team by recruiting a Clinical Research Administrator.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to become part of a leading clinical research organization, collaborating with a team of skilled and dedicated clinical professionals who are advancing the testing of products related to infectious and respiratory diseases in drug discovery and development.

Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Administrator include:

  • Performing receptionist and administrative tasks for incoming volunteers (patients), including welcoming them and ensuring the reception area is adequately staffed during clinic hours.
  • Coordinating updates for volunteers, ensuring that case notes and related documents are accurately tracked and filed in the appropriate volunteer files.
  • Completing Case Report Forms (CRFs) and other required data points with precision.
  • Addressing inquiries, managing filing, entering data into databases, and handling general correspondence efficiently.
  • Ensuring compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines and best practices in alignment with internal policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Study Protocols.
  • Assisting in the daily management of the clinical area and reception.

To qualify for the Clinical Research Administrator role, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • A degree (or equivalent professional experience) in a relevant life science field such as Biology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Sports Science, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in administration/documentation, preferably gained through employment or demonstrated through academic studies or volunteering.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of UK healthcare practices, including ICH-GCP, is advantageous.
  • Ability to listen, clarify, and identify solutions while agreeing on key actions.
  • Strong IT proficiency (Word and Excel or equivalent).
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to ensure the clinic and studies operate smoothly.
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment, clinical research, or familiarity with Clinical Trials would be beneficial.
