About the Role

Computappoint is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer and a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. The successful candidates will provide hands-on input into the team responsible for supporting large-scale IT solutions, focusing on storage and backup systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V
  • Administer backup systems, such as Veeam and Netbackup
  • Support a 24/7 support environment, with a willingness to work outside regular hours if required
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality IT services
Requirements
  • Proven experience with VMware, Veeam, and Netbackup
  • Strong understanding of IT consultancy environments and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, with mostly remote work and occasional visits to the Portsmouth office
  • Desire to learn and expand on current knowledge, with a willingness to take on new challenges
