Position Title: Care Worker

Role Overview: As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Working Hours: 33.75 hours per week, from 08:30 to 16:00.

About the Role: Protocol Education is collaborating with a highly regarded educational institution in Newham that is seeking dedicated Care Workers. This role offers the opportunity to assist a range of students, including those in Primary, Secondary, and post-16 education, who face learning challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Maintain a calm and steady demeanor in all situations.
  • Promote safeguarding and equality within the educational environment.
  • Work collaboratively within a team while also managing tasks independently.
  • Engage with parents and professionals, ensuring a professional rapport is upheld.
  • Adhere to care guidelines, including hoisting, manual handling, and medication administration.
  • Prior experience with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in care settings, including elderly care and nursing, will also be valued.
