We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Mysa Care in Surrey. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage medication, ensuring timely ordering and availability.

• Arrange and accompany individuals to regular health and wellbeing appointments.

• Foster social skills, home, and life skills through engaging and guiding support.

• Support individuals in achieving their planned goals, personal wishes, and dreams.

• Facilitate access to employment, education, and leisure opportunities.

• Assist tenants in developing and maintaining relationships with family and friends.

• Encourage tenants to become active and valued members of the community.

• Provide verbal or physical support for budget and banking needs.

• Monitor and record daily activities, events, and behaviors through our electronic system.

About You:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards.

Be well-organised, self-motivated, and able to delegate work effectively.

Proven ability to lead and supervise others.

Understanding of Support Planning, Risk Assessing, and the Mental Capacity Act (DOLs).

Experience in or confidence to undertake training on administering medication.

A full driving licence is preferred, and willingness to use Business insurance or hold Business insurance and use own vehicle to support Service users.
