Kingswood is a leading provider of outdoor education experiences, and we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Outdoor Activity Leader Apprentice. This 13-month apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in outdoor adventure leadership, while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-adrenaline outdoor activities using specialist equipment
  • Design and run your own sessions, developing your leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Undertake external National Governing body (NGB) qualifications to enhance your expertise
  • Provide entertainment sessions and create fun, exhilarating experiences for our participants
  • Ensure all equipment and safety checks are conducted in line with company procedures
  • Support centre projects and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements:
  • English GCSE at level 3 or grade D
  • Maths GCSE at level 3 or grade D
  • OR NVQ or SVQ Functional Skills Level 1 or equivalent English and Maths
Compensation and Benefits:
  • National apprenticeship wage: £5.81 per hour
  • Earn £10,982.40 in 12 months, with no NI or Tax contributions
  • Plus 5.6 weeks' holiday, providing a healthy work-life balance
  • Rate increases to £10.10 per hour after 12 months, reflecting your growing expertise
