We are looking for a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Information and Digital Group (IDG) team, focusing on the effective, secure, and economical management of our Cloud infrastructure utilizing Microsoft Azure.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Azure environment, which includes tasks such as resource allocation, performance enhancement, security setup, and issue resolution.

A background in fostering continuous improvement within an Agile product management framework is essential.

Candidates should have prior experience in a similar capacity within a large-scale enterprise, demonstrating proficiency with infrastructure automation tools, DevOps practices, CI/CD workflows, and monitoring solutions.

Your responsibilities will also include automating the operational components of the infrastructure and systems lifecycle through tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Azure DevOps CI/CD, and Kubernetes.

As we adapt to a more agile, digital-centric environment, it is crucial to swiftly evaluate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

This approach enables us to harness digital capabilities to enhance engagement, efficiency, and overall institutional capability.

This role encompasses the development and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and hardware, ensuring they perform to established service level agreements (SLAs) and provide high availability.

The Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) team also formulates and executes IT infrastructure and operational strategies for the University, aligning them with institutional objectives and industry best practices.

They are responsible for overseeing the University's IT infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient operations while managing relationships with external vendors and service providers to meet agreed-upon standards.
