We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Female Support Worker to become a vital part of our committed team.
As a Support Worker, adaptability is essential for both you and the service; you may be asked to cover various shifts throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, overnight stays, and weekends.
The advantage of flexibility is mutual; while we may need you to work different shifts, we also recognize your personal commitments and will strive to accommodate these in our scheduling.
You will earn an enhanced flat rate of £62.45 for any overnight shifts worked, with this payment being non-contractual.
About Our Service
Our service supports four women who share a home, ensuring they lead fulfilling lives. The role of a support worker is diverse, assisting individuals in various activities such as dining out, visiting local attractions, shopping, enjoying tea and cake, or socializing with family and friends. Additionally, the role encompasses household tasks, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and providing support with cleaning, laundry, and gardening—essential activities for maintaining a smooth-running home. The role is also personal, offering assistance in personal care routines, mobility support, and any health-related needs, including medication management. Empowerment is key; we encourage the individuals we support to express their preferences and make choices about their lives in creative ways.

Due to the nature of this service, we are specifically looking for female applicants. This position is exempt under the Equality Act, Schedule 9, Part 1.
