Trade Surveillance Officer - Market Abuse

NatWest CWS is seeking a skilled Trade Surveillance Officer - Market Abuse to join our team. As a key member of our contingent workforce, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveillance checks and fact-finding reviews to monitor trading activities and identify potential market abuse.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve existing surveillance systems and drive new technological solutions.
  • Analyze activity for potential red flags and escalate appropriately.
  • Support the development and implementation of an annual surveillance program of work.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and policies.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income and Currency products, regulations, electronic trading concepts, and risks.
  • Previous quality assurance and calibration experience.
  • Ability to apply technical understanding to data to solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of how to assist in the development of policies and procedures.
  • Adaptable to changing market situations, technology, and business needs.
