Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to support transformational change, quality improvements, and patient experience for individuals receiving spinal cord injury care within the newly-established South West Spinal Cord Injury network.

Main Duties

You will need to utilize a high level of clinical expertise in Spinal Cord Injury to provide support, education, and training for medical, nursing, and therapists' teams and other healthcare professionals involved in the direct patient care of individuals with a spinal cord injury, in any setting.

Working as part of the wider South West SCI Clinical Network, providing services across the catchment area of Salisbury Spinal Cord Injury Centre, you will be a champion for SCI patients, ensuring that they and their families are supported and their voices heard.

  • Qualified Nurse, OT, or Physiotherapist
  • Registered with NMC or HCPC as appropriate

  • Minimum 5 years experience of working with Spinal Cord injury patients

  • Extensive experience of working with SCI patients, in a variety of different settings.
  • Experience of service development

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to understand and act on complex pieces of information
