In-Situ Machining Supervisor

GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking a skilled In-Situ Machining Supervisor to lead their dynamic team and drive innovation in In-situ Machining. As a key member of the team, you will oversee daily operations and manage the In-situ Machining team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily activities of the In-situ Machining and Maintenance teams, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Organise and support training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
  • Provide technical support and oversee the maintenance programme and tooling management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and manage documentation related to equipment certifications.
  • Actively participate in production meetings, preparing and aligning resources for upcoming projects.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and support the design teams in achieving project targets.
  • Perform site surveys and assist in R&D In-situ trials.
  • Manage company assets, including tooling and company vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving prowess and a strong track record in a leadership role.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office and MRP systems, and adherence to lean manufacturing principles.
  • Flexible, dependable, and committed to continuous improvement and excellence.

  • A competitive salary in the range £43,000 - £48,000 depending on experience.
