Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to work in a Secondary school in Aberdare. The school supports learners in Key Stage 3 and 4, and we are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and become a part of the Secondary team from day one.

The role involves supervising a classroom of learners, preparing the classroom for lessons, and supervising lessons in line with the national curriculum. The successful candidate will work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a classroom of learners - Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons
  • Supervise lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies

Requirements:

  • At least 3 months experience in a related industry role
  • Registration as a Cover Supervisor with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
