Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen leadership, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team with passion and precision, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality, flavor, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Kitchen Team
    • Develop and implement kitchen strategies to drive menu innovation and consistency
    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create a positive and productive kitchen environment
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service
  • Menu Development
    • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and refine the menu, infusing it with creativity while staying true to the Aegean influences that define our cuisine
    • Conduct menu tastings and provide feedback to ensure that dishes meet our high standards
  • Operations Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, ordering, and ensuring that all kitchen processes run smoothly
    • Develop and implement systems to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
  • Health and Safety
    • Uphold strict health and safety standards, ensuring that the kitchen remains a clean, organized, and safe environment
    • Conduct regular health and safety audits to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
