The Peninsula London seeks an exceptional Senior Culinary Leader to join our Culinary Team as part of our ongoing commitment to delivering an unparalleled guest experience. This critical role will play a pivotal part in shaping the culinary direction of our flagship hotel, ensuring a seamless and outstanding dining experience for our discerning guests.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment, with a proven track record of driving culinary excellence and managing diverse teams. Strong people leadership skills, combined with a natural flair for creativity, will be essential in this role.

The Senior Culinary Leader will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of 15+ chefs, overseeing scheduling, delegation of duties, and monitoring and supervision of service. This will include maintaining open communication across all sections of the kitchen and with other departments, as well as assisting the Executive Chef in menu development and ensuring high-quality produce is sourced.

Additional responsibilities will include managing and following control cost control policies and procedures, maintaining the highest level of health and safety and environmental hygiene, and hiring, developing, motivating, supervising, and coaching department employees. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with extensive culinary knowledge, including classical and current culinary trends, and financial acumen.
