In the role of Fashion Content Curator, you will possess extensive knowledge of the fashion landscape, alongside a strong background in feature writing and editorial leadership.

You will have a proven track record in managing the creation of special reports, buying guides, and editorial photo sessions.


Drapers also offers a diverse range of virtual and in-person conferences, awards, and tailored networking events, and you will play a key role in their development and occasionally lead them.

As a senior team member, you will also represent the brand at external engagements.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate daily content ideas centered on fashion retail industry news and contribute to the monthly print publication with a variety of relevant topics.

- Edit features for both print and digital platforms that are aligned with the latest industry developments.

- Gather insights from industry leaders within the fashion retail sector.

- Ensure the fashion features section encompasses a wide range of sectors and determine the depth of coverage for various subjects.

- Oversee the production of all fashion-related content, including features, interviews, brand profiles, and trend analyses.

- Manage, style, and direct the creative vision for all seasonal special editions and editorial photoshoots, including concept development, production, budgeting, and execution.

- Supervise all catwalk coverage, including trend analysis.

- Coordinate the seasonal trade show strategy and its coverage.

- Collaborate closely with the art and production teams to ensure all content is presented to the highest standards, proposing new design and layout concepts across print and digital formats.

- Contribute to the team's weekly newsletter schedule by writing breaking news related to fashion retail.

Required Skills and Experience:
- NCTJ qualification or equivalent journalism training or experience.

- Proven experience in overseeing editorial photoshoots from start to finish, including sample call-ins and art direction.

- Experience in crafting and editing long-form features, as well as interviewing senior industry figures.

Equipment:
Laptops are provided due to hybrid working arrangements.

Work Arrangement:
This position is a full-time hybrid role, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely. This arrangement may evolve based on business needs.
