We are seeking a seasoned Deputy Infrastructure Manager to join our management team at CraigTech Solutions, a leading recruitment specialist for the roads and highways sector.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000pa + Benefits

The successful candidate will oversee a team of highway contracting partners, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of a range of road improvement schemes.

As a client-side role, we're looking for applicants with experience in project management, contracting & supplier partnership management, stakeholder liaison, and good planning & programme skills.

Applicants with experience of working client-side, within either a Civil Engineering/Project Management Consultancy, Local Authority, National Highways, TfL or similar organisation could prove advantageous.

Candidates must hold a formal qualification in Civil Engineering (Bsc or similar University level qualification), coupled with at least five years of practical experience in the UK Infrastructure sector, ideally highways, bridges and tunnels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of road improvement schemes
  • Manage highway contracting partners
  • Ensure timely and effective project delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Manage project budgets and resources

Requirements:

  • Formal qualification in Civil Engineering (Bsc or similar University level qualification)
  • At least five years of practical experience in the UK Infrastructure sector
  • Experience in project management, contracting & supplier partnership management, stakeholder liaison, and good planning & programme skills
  • Chartership, or working toward it, would be beneficial
