As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classroom dynamics and ensuring that students remain focused on their tasks. Your contribution will be vital in assisting the school's operations by allowing qualified teaching staff to concentrate on essential activities such as marking and lesson planning. This role is situated within a secondary school setting and requires confidence in teaching Key Stage 3 and 4.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Previous experience in a school environment.
  • Proficiency in Maths and English at grade C/Level 4.
  • Ideally, a degree in education.

Your responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor will include:

  • Managing the classroom effectively.
  • Ensuring students are engaged and working towards their objectives.
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons.
  • Covering a variety of subjects.
  • Exhibiting strong time management and planning skills.
  • Working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekends off.

Compensation:

  • Pay rates can reach up to £350 per week, contingent on experience.
