As a Registered Nurse with Exemplar Health Care, you will be empowered to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You will be responsible for providing person-centred and evidence-based nursing care, assessing, planning, and implementing care plans, and promoting health and wellbeing.
Our care focuses on maximising independence and building everyday living skills. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team to provide high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, and implementing care for residents
- Providing person-centred and evidence-based nursing care
- Developing collaborative needs-based care plans
- Safe administration of medication
- Promoting health and wellbeing
- Being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit while on shift
- Managing situations when residents display behaviours which may challenge
About You
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is a great role model, able to coach, teach, and support colleagues. You will be someone with a calm nature who can deal with and defuse challenging situations. You will be an advocate of best practice in nursing and knowledgeable about assessment, admission, and discharge processes.
