As a Deputy Manager (Nurse / RGN / RMN), you will play a vital role in supporting the care home operations to meet or exceed goals while ensuring high-quality care. You will oversee care staff and manage the care home in the Manager's absence, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

You will train and supervise staff, assist with resident pre-admission assessments, maintain care plans and records, and facilitate communication with families and other organisations. Your ability to engage with service users to understand their needs will be essential in providing excellent services of care.

The Care Home:

Our care home is registered for up to 73 service users, providing nursing, residential, and dementia care. We have excellent reviews and feedback from residents and families, who appreciate our commitment to providing the highest standards of care.

We are committed to putting the residents at the heart of everything we do, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Your role will be crucial in maintaining this high standard of care.

Requirements:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Deputy Manager (Nurse / RGN / RMN) who has a good working knowledge of CQC standards. You will need to be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing team.

You will also need to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.
