Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and committed trainee pharmacy technician to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy team and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Support the pharmacy team in the implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice and legislation
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
Requirements
  • National 5 qualifications at Grade A to C in Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and English/ESOL or completion of the Access to Pharmacy Services (SCQF level 5)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in pharmacy practice and legislation
