Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Therapies and Education Service at Rampton Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, risk management, and care to patients in a high secure forensic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a patient-centred occupational therapy programme using evidence-based assessments and treatment approaches.
- Contribute to the clinical risk assessment and development of risk management plans for patients.
- Effectively manage a caseload under supervision and adhere to professional and locally agreed standards.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical reports and contribute to the Care Programme Approach (CPA) process.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality assurance activities as required.
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Health and Care Professions Council Registration (HCPC).
- Experience in occupational therapy assessment, treatment planning, delivery, and evaluation in a mental health setting.
- Experience of planning and running individual and group interventions.
- Effective team working and communication skills.
