We are seeking a skilled Linen Porter to join our team at The Lygon Arms Hotel. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our back corridors and staircases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the upkeep of linen stocks and assist Housekeeping Assistants with daily tasks.
- Take ownership of de-scaling shower heads, bleach grouting in bathrooms and toilets, and general upkeep of bedrooms.
- Assist and help out other Room Assistants when necessary, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Complete Laundry duties as required, understanding flexibility and teamwork.
- Restock monthly items for the rooms, such as magazines.
- Assist General Assistants with heavy loads, understanding flexibility and teamwork.
- Report any maintenance issues and use initiative to resolve.
- Be confident in understanding and executing the company's policies and procedures regarding privacy, confidentiality, and data protection.
- Be fully aware of the Hotel's Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
We are looking for an individual with experience in working in a 4* or 5* hotel restaurant, who has a keen eye for detail, organizational skills, and confident communication with the team.
