We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cleaning and maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain all areas of the hospital, including theatres, wards, and public spaces.
- Operate modern cleaning equipment and machinery to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning schedule.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the relevant teams.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
- GCSE Maths and English (grade C or above) or Functional skills level 2.
- Basic Food Hygiene certification.
- NVQ level 1&2 in Cleaning Sciences or equivalent.
- Previous hospital domestic experience is desirable.
- Physical fitness for duties required.
