Project Engineer Opportunity

KBM Resourcing is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our client in Aberdeenshire, just 20 minutes outside of Aberdeen. This is a permanent position that offers a range of industry-leading solutions in Oil & Gas.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and contract milestones.
  2. Assist in preparing detailed quotations for project-related enquiries, including engineering, manufacturing, and assembly/testing costs.
  3. Report on project progress, cost budget, and resources.
  4. Chair project kick-off meetings upon contract award.
  5. Prepare field survey work packs and resources.
  6. Coordinate technical documentation, including engineering drawings, test procedures, operation procedures, and risk assessments.
  7. Attend client meetings and liaise with the client during the project life cycle.
  8. Ensure timely receipt of drawings and associated documents from engineering to meet project delivery schedules.
  9. Write in-house testing procedures for each project.
  10. Lead project risk management activities.
  11. Develop operational procedures for offshore scope of supply.
  12. Compile mobilisation lists and advise operations on deployment requirements for offshore personnel.
  13. Assist with field deployment as required.
  14. Prepare close-out and revenue reports upon project completion.
Requirements:
  1. Mechanical engineering degree or strong practical Oil & Gas background.
  2. Strong engineering background with topside/subsea/pipeline experience desirable.
  3. Experience in client management with commercial and financial awareness.
  4. Good technical writing skills.
