Project Engineer Job Description

As a Project Engineer at KBM Resourcing Ltd, you will play a key role in delivering projects related to our company products. We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and process work scope associated with project-related contracts.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed quotations for project-related enquiries, including the compilation of engineering, manufacturing, and assembly/testing costs.
  • Responsible for creating and managing project plans, budgets, and contract milestones.
  • Report on project progress, cost budget, and resources.
  • Participate in design/operational reviews associated with project deliverables.
  • Coordinate all technical documentation required for the project, including engineering drawings, test procedures, operational procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure drawings and associated documents are received in a timely manner from engineering to meet project delivery schedules.
  • Ensure purchase requisitions are raised for all manufacturing and assembly components required for the project.
  • Write all necessary 'in-house' testing procedures relative to each project undertaken.
  • Coordinate visits by clients or 3rd party test inspection to witness testing activities.
  • Lead project risk management activities.
  • Compile mobilization lists and advise operations on deployment requirements for offshore personnel.
  • Prepare close-out and revenue reports upon completion of projects.
Requirements:
  • Sound engineering background with topside/process/pipeline/subsea experience.
  • Mechanical or fabrication engineering qualification and/or very strong practical oil and gas background.
  • Client liaison and financial awareness skills.
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Driving license required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft AX system would be an advantage.
