Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Human Engineering. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of our mechanical engineering projects, working closely with our clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company processes and policies.
  • Engineering Support: Provide technical support for offshore crane repairs, refurbishment, operation, and maintenance, as well as mechanical equipment including spare parts sourcing, refurbishment plans, and equipment hire activities.
  • Design and Engineering: Conduct engineering design related to offshore crane and lifting projects, and participate in and carry out lifting studies for clients both onshore and offshore.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the preparation of workpacks in detail and complete offshore/onsite work activities, and undertake offshore/onshore surveys and lead project workscopes.
  • Tendering and Estimating: Assist with the generation of tenders, offers, design, and engineering for given disciplines.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSEQ): Familiarize yourself with client's and company HSEQ policies and procedures, and plan, organize, and document client work processes to deliver the required standard with minimum risk to personnel, plant, materials, and the environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree qualified, preferably in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2-4 years' experience in project engineering, preferably with onshore or offshore crane and lifting experience.
  • Skills: Strong IT skills, including MS Project, Excel, and Word, as well as the ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
