ESOL Tutor

West Herts College is seeking a passionate and qualified ESOL tutor to contribute to our successful teaching team.

Our ESOL programs encompass both college and community-based courses, operating during the day and evenings. We offer instruction ranging from pre-entry to Level 1 qualifications. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in working with both adult and 16-18 year old learners, and who possess the ability to deliver engaging learning experiences across all levels.

Experience in teaching Essential Digital Skills and/or Functional Skills Maths alongside ESOL would be highly advantageous.

We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified educators who demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to student success. A background in Further Education or community teaching, coupled with a formal teaching qualification, is desirable. However, if you are eager to pursue your teacher training qualifications, we encourage you to apply.

This part-time position involves 10 hours per week and is based in Luton, with the potential for increased hours.
