We provide Education and Training opportunities and free Careers Advice for women and men who want to build confidence, gain new skills and create employment opportunities for themselves so that they can lead more independent and productive lives.

Most of our courses are funded by Step 2 Skills.

We aim to be environmentally friendly and it is our intention to promote a policy that is focused on being green aware. A culture will be fostered within WWC that ensures all employees understand they can make a significant contribution to comply with environmental legislation and regulation. We are committed to incorporating sustainability into our curriculum, to ensure that our students successfully adopt environmentally friendly and carbon neutral practises.
- Plan and deliver effective English language instruction to students with diverse linguistic backgrounds, focusing on the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to the varying language proficiency levels within the ESOL classroom.
- Assess students' language abilities and progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement culturally sensitive teaching methods that foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Integrate technology and interactive resources into lessons to enhance language acquisition and cultural understanding.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to design cross-disciplinary activities and projects that reinforce language skills.
- Establish strong communication channels with students, their families, and support staff to address individual learning needs and promote language development outside the classroom.
- Stay abreast of best practices in language acquisition, multicultural education, and ESOL teaching methodologies through professional development activities.
- Participate in conferences, staff meetings, and events to contribute to the overall educational experience of ESOL students
- Ensure that Health and Safety checks are made on all delivery locations and appropriate paperwork is in place in course folders.
- To attend termly staff reviews and meetings.
- All centre staff are expected to promote and develop a community spirit within the centre

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £13.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week
