As a Retail Assistant Manager at Finisterre, you will play a key role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences in our Bristol store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
    • Train and coach store staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Stay up-to-date with seasonal product ranges and ensure staff are knowledgeable about our products.
    • Build strong relationships with local community groups and partners to drive sales and brand awareness.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver successful in-store events.
  • Commercial
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Work closely with the merchandising team to optimize stock levels and drive sales.
    • Stay up-to-date with company-wide initiatives and strategies to drive business growth.
  • Operations
    • Ensure the store is staffed efficiently and effectively to meet customer demand.
    • Train and coach staff on stock handling processes and procedures.
    • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
    • Assist with managing health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • People
    • Represent Finisterre's brand values and culture to customers and staff.
    • Develop and implement training programs to support staff development and growth.
    • Maintain open and positive relationships with store staff and management.
    • Collaborate with the HR team to drive employee engagement and retention.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a premium apparel brand.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive sales growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for sustainability and commitment to Finisterre's brand values.
