About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Cladding & Facades Systems to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a Quantity Surveyor Cladding & Facades Systems, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a range of cladding and projects in the commercial and residential sectors
- Keeping up to date with site progress, recording progress made, and transferring information onto payment applications
- Preparing on-time monthly valuations following site measurements and work-in-progress reviews
- Keeping track of monthly application figures and ensuring relevant departments are aware of potential budget or financial constraints
- Reviewing labour schedules and comparing to actual progress on site
- Pricing variations and changes in line with subcontractor parameters
- Building, managing, and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, other construction professionals, suppliers, and site staff
- Working on projects ranging from £50,000 to £3,000,000
- Must have 3 years of Quantity Surveying experience within the UK building envelope market sector
- Ideally will have experience with a range of cladding and façade systems
- Must have experience working for a subcontractor dealing with multiple projects
- Ideally will have an in-depth understanding of subcontracts (JCT Design & Build and NEC3)
- Must hold a full UK driving license
- Ideally will have a Quantity Surveying degree
- High levels of organisation
- Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
