About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team in Fareham. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to internal users across 1st and 2nd line. The company is looking for a skilled IT Support Engineer to support their head office and customers with a range of IT issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 1st line engineer looking to step up to 2nd line or an established 2nd line support engineer looking for room to grow and take on more responsibility in a dynamic and technically challenging environment.

The company is going through a period of growth and transformation, which is expected to continue throughout the year and into 2025. The position offers scope for progression, training opportunities, an excellent company culture, and a starting salary up to £32,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to internal users across 1st and 2nd line
  • Support the company's head office and customers with a range of IT issues
  • Work collaboratively with the IT team to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills to support the company's IT infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server
  • Windows 10
  • Office 365 support

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to network support

Working Arrangements:

The company is primarily based in the office in central Fareham but offers flexibility to work from home once a week.
