Production Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our team at GHA Recruitment Ltd. This is a full-time permanent position based in Croydon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead front-line technical roles on production-related issues.
  • Focus on production and product overhaul or repair requirements.
  • Develop and update overhaul instructions, work instructions, and technical job packs.
  • Design and test equipment interfaces, such as adaptor plates and asset mounting devices.
  • Write test specifications for product testing and programming of test equipment.
  • Support projects in the startup phase and optimize production processes.
  • Liaise with production management, production control, project management, and engineering functions.
  • Continuously review and improve production processes to establish best practices and eliminate wastefulness.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement activities with workshop teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent qualifications with significant practical experience.
  • Overhaul and repair experience is ideal.
  • Good practical engineering approach, CAD skills, and Microsoft Office technical documentation skills are essential.
  • Fluent technical and conversational English and good communication skills are required.
