POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Lead Care Support Specialist at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our residents by delivering personalized care and support tailored to their unique needs. In this position, you will oversee and motivate a team of dedicated Care Assistants while collaborating closely with the Deputy General Manager. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist the clinical team in various areas, including medication management, assessments, care planning, and care evaluations. Your commitment to respecting the dignity and preferences of our residents will be essential in fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
To be considered for the role of Lead Care Support Specialist, you should possess an NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. It is important that you have a solid understanding of clinical care for the elderly population. We are seeking individuals who are compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing individualized care and support to each resident. You will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to advance your career within our organization. Many of our Lead Care Support Specialists transition into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing positions.
