Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commissioning Manager to lead our Targeted Lung Health Checks programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to improve lung health outcomes in our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the implementation of the Targeted Lung Health Checks programme, working closely with our Joint Commissioning and regional colleagues.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to our commissioning team, ensuring effective planning, commissioning, and service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including ICB, Local Authorities, primary care, and partner organisations.
  • Develop and manage financial and activity dashboards to support programme delivery and reporting.
  • Lead the review of services and implement matrix working across the team and with other teams within the ICB.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in commissioning and the public sector, with a strong understanding of the national and local cancer agenda.
  • Master's level education or equivalent experience working at a senior level within cancer-related services.
