Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the implementation of the Targeted Lung Health Checks programme in the Derbyshire region. The successful candidate will work closely with the Joint Commissioning Unit and regional colleagues to develop an options appraisal and drive transformation in planning, commissioning, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead on local implementation of the Targeted Lung Health Checks programme
- Work collaboratively with JUCD and regional colleagues to develop an options appraisal
- Provide direction and line management to the commissioning team
- Support the Head of Service in implementing strategy
- Coordinate the delivery of QIPP through relevant work streams and commissioning managers
- Work with partner organisations, including ICB, Local Authorities, and primary care
- Provide reports and updates, and develop/assist in delivering financial and activity dashboards
Requirements:
- Experience within the public sector and commissioning
- Extensive knowledge of the national and local cancer agenda
