Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities, automation processes, site projects, and maintenance systems.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to optimize production capacity in alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Lead a team of skilled technicians and electricians to achieve high levels of process efficiency.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities to maximize both personnel and equipment performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of asset management, maintenance strategies, and systems, including planning and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the maintenance function.
  • Develop and implement PEMAC/CMMS systems to enhance operational efficiency, including energy management and utility services.
  • Introduce best practices in process engineering and maintenance, integrating new technologies and design standards.
  • Foster the development of the maintenance team's skills through performance reviews, training, and mentoring.
  • Manage maintenance and engineering costs effectively, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Utilize lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives critical to plant performance.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and project execution to meet established standards.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering with a focus on mechanical and electrical disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years in maintenance and engineering management is required, with knowledge of maintenance strategies such as RCM and TPM being advantageous.
  • Ability to promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
